The last few days we've been experiencing a Northwest winter phenomenon known as a "sunny day". Isn't there a saying "work while the sun shines"? Well it's common knowledge in these parts that while the sun shines you’d better go out and enjoy it because it may not happen again for a while.  So yesterday after preschool we skipped the grocery store and spent a glorious afternoon at the park picnicking with friends and reacquainting the boys with that big bright circle in the sky. After a trip to get groceries today (hey, you can only live off ketchup, pickles and soy sauce for so long) the boys have done nothing but play in the sandbox, chase each other on the lawn and insist on eating lunch outside. What can I say they were both born in California and like me being outside in the sunshine make us happy!
